Two special boys in my life
I thought id introduce you to the two boys in my life who make my life feel complete.
This is Jake (nearly 4) and Ben (10 months) my nephews. They live with my sister and bro in law about a 15-minute drive from us.They are one of the reasons we moved from Sydney to the central coast.Jake is the reason I proposed to John. John and I got engaged the day after Jake was born, we were caught up in all the excitement and euphoria of the birth. Jake is a real little man who has been on this earth before, he is very wise beyond his years and I do believe that my Pop is looking after him. My pop died in September 2002 and with in weeks my sister knew she was pregnant. When Jake was little he used to sit and talk to some one and babble on and on and laugh to himself and I believe he was talking to pop. Like my pop Jake is obsessed with cars and anything to do with transport but especially fast cars, which was my pops passion. My pop lived for Bathurst each year and one year my sister couldn’t find Jake and came into the lounge room to find him sitting watching the cars race around the track at Bathurst. If that’s not pop I don’t know what is.Jake is very grown up and very smart especially when it comes to cars, he knows all the different types of cars and knows details about them.
Ben is the smiling laughing happy one. Ben spends all his time smiling and he is so happy and content. He is a big booffa and I think one day he will be the one Jake hides behind and he will be the one everyone will be scared of. He has the best personality and is so gorgeous when he laughs, which he does a lot. He is a typical second child in that he wants to do what ever Jake is doing. He has just started crawling and moves at the speed of light. He LOVES his food, will eat all day if you let him.
I feel so blessed that the boys are part of my life. I am the Auntie that spoils them rotten, Jake only has to ask and I give him what ever he wants and I am sure Ben will be the same one-day. I love them to death and if I never have my own children, natural, fostered or adopted, I will consider myself lucky to have these two little darlings in my life instead.
